Welcome to Ringgold Elementary School!  It is an absolute pleasure to get to work with and serve the wonderful students, staff, and families of RES. The mission of our school is learning, loving, and growing together, and we are committed to making this happen for all of our students.

Hi! I’m Daniel McMurry and I am the Principal at Ringgold Elementary. I’m excited to begin my 7th year serving our amazing school community. I have a passion for teaching and learning, and I feel blessed to support our students, teachers, and families every day.

Outside of school, I’m a proud husband and dad. My wife, Julie, and I have been married for 16 years, and we have three awesome kids—Riggs (7), Eva (11), and Lyla (14). They keep life fun, busy, and full of learning at home too!
