There’s something special about the start of fall—the leaves begin to change, the air gets a little cooler, and it’s a great time for new beginnings! As we head into September, we are excited to kick off our Apex Fun Run Fundraiser, while also focusing on an important character trait: Responsibility.
Apex Fun Run is Coming!
Our Apex Fun Run fundraiser is officially underway! This exciting event is about much more than fundraising—it’s about building character, setting goals, encouraging one another, and working together as a school community.
Our fundraiser will wrap up on September 11, so be sure to follow along with your child’s Apex experience and help them reach their goals. Every contribution helps support the students and teachers of Ringgold Elementary!
Character Trait of the Month: Responsibility
This month, we are focusing on Responsibility. Being responsible means doing what we are supposed to do, making good choices, and taking ownership of our actions—even when no one is watching.
At Ringgold Elementary, we want our Tigers to understand that responsibility is something we practice every day. Whether it’s completing an assignment, taking care of our classroom, treating others with respect, or following through on a commitment, Every Tiger, Every Day, Without Exception has an opportunity to show responsibility.
Just like the changing leaves remind us that growth happens over time, September is a great opportunity for our students to grow in character, too. We are excited to see our Tigers take responsibility, rise to the challenge, and make this a fantastic fall!
