Letter from the Principal

Welcome Back, Tigers!

Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Ringgold Elementary! We are incredibly excited to have our students and families back with us and cannot wait to see all that we will accomplish together this year. A new school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, build relationships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Our theme this year is Building a Legacy, and we believe that building a legacy happens one day, one student, and one positive choice at a time. Our goal is to create a school where every student feels valued, supported, challenged, and loved while developing the skills they need to be successful.
Our Schoolwide Expectations
This year, we will continue to focus on three simple expectations that guide how we learn, work, and grow together:
Be Respectful – Treat others with kindness, use appropriate language, listen to others, and take care of our school.
Be Engaged – Give your best effort, participate in learning, ask questions, and take ownership of your success.
Be Safe – Make responsible choices, follow directions, keep our hands and feet to ourselves, and help create a safe environment for everyone.
These expectations are more than words on a wall. They are the foundation for the culture we want to continue building at Ringgold Elementary.
We Are a Team
Our students' success depends on all of us working together. Teachers, staff, families, and students each have an important role to play in helping our Tigers grow. When we communicate, support one another, celebrate progress, and work through challenges together, amazing things can and will happen.
Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being an important part of the Ringgold Elementary family. We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to learning, loving, and growing together as we continue Building a Legacy!
Every Tiger. Every Day. Without Exception.
-Daniel McMurry
