M.A. Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Counseling, Richmont Graduate University, Chattanooga, TN

B.A. Psychology, King University, Bristol, TN

I hold a Georgia Professional Educator certificate in School Counseling P-12.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and am licensed in Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Since 2008, I worked in community agencies that provide mental healthcare and counseling to individuals and families.  I have worked with Lookout Mountain Community Services in Ft. Oglethorpe and Georgia HOPE in Dalton.  I have also worked in private counseling centers.  I teach online and evening classes in Psychology and Counseling through Bryan College's Adult and Graduate Studies program on a part-time basis.  I believe that schools are some of the happiest places in the world, and I'm so excited that I became the RES school counselor in January 2015!

I am married to Ryan Cobb who works as a youth pastor with students in sixth grade through college.  He has worked at our church, ChristChurch Presbyterian in Dalton, since 2006.  We have two beautiful little girls named Lillian and Hannah.  Lilly is 4 years old and Hannah is 11 months old!  We also have two awesome dogs named Hershey and Layla.  Layla is so smart that she has even been a guest "speaker" at FCA meetings and other events!  I love music, movies, and anything crafty (but I have to have the instructions!)  We spend a lot of time following the activities of our youth group kids in sports, dance, band, etc. and taking them to camps and mission trips in the summer.  My family lives in Virginia and my husband's in North Carolina, so we also enjoy traveling to visit our parents on holidays and breaks.
